The leverage and grip provided by push pin pliers make it easier to remove these push pins or carclips without causing damage to the surrounding materials.
 

To use a push pin plier - straight:

  1. Identify the push pin you want to remove.
  2. Position the straight jaws of the pliers around the head or base of the push pin.
  3. Squeeze the pliers' handles to grip the pin securely.
  4. While maintaining a firm grip on the pin, pull it outward or away from the panel or surface.
